چکیده

This paper deals with the micro–macro derivation of models from underlying description provided by methods kinetic theory for active particles. We consider so-called exotic according to definition proposed in [ N. Bellomo, Outada, J. Soler, Y. Tao and M. Winkler, Chemotaxis cross diffusion complex environments: Modeling towards a multiscale vision, Math. Models Methods Appl. Sci. 32 (2022) 713–792]. The first part presentation focuses on survey critical analysis some phenomenological known literature. refer selection case studies, detail, transport virus models, social dynamics, Keller–Segel fluid. second shows how Hilbert-type approach can be developed derive at macroscale third macroscopic corresponding selected studies. Finally, forward look into future research perspectives is proposed.

From Microscopic to Macroscopic Traffic Models

The paper presents a systematic derivation of macroscopic equations for freeway traffic flow from an Enskog-like kinetic approach. The resulting fluid-dynamic traffic equations for the spatial density, average velocity, and velocity variance of vehicles are compared to equations, which can be obtained from a microscopic force model of individual vehicle motion. Simulation results of the models ...

Diffusion in Multicomponent Liquids: From Microscopic to Macroscopic Scales.

In spite of considerable research on the nature of aqueous alcohol mixtures that are characterized by microscopic inhomogeneity or incomplete mixing at the molecular level, transport properties have received little attention. We report the results of a study on diffusion in the ternary mixture of water with two alcohols, that is, water + methanol + ethanol, which is investigated on microscopic ...

Simulation of Pedestrian Dynamics with Macroscopic and Microscopic Mathematical Models

Here, we collect two parts of a research project on the pedestrian flow modeling. Rapid growth in the volume of public transport and the need for its reasonable, efficient planning have made the description and modeling of transport and pedestrian behaviors as important research topics in the past twenty years. First, we present a macroscopic model for the pedestrian flow based on continuum mec...

Macroscopic-microscopic Mass Models

We discuss recent developments in macroscopic-microscopic mass models, including the 1992 finite-range droplet model, the 1992 extended-ThomasFermi Strutinsky-integral model, and the 1994 Thomas-Fermi model, with particular emphasis on how well they extrapolate to new regions of nuclei. We also address what recent developments in macroscopic-microscopic mass models are teaching us about such ph...

Dislocation dynamics: from microscopic models to macroscopic crystal plasticity

In this paper we study the connection between four models describing dislocation dynamics: a generalized 2D FrenkelKontorova model at the atomic level, the Peierls-Nabarro model, the discrete dislocation dynamics and a macroscopic model with dislocation densities. We show how each model can be deduced from the previous one at a smaller scale. AMS subject classifications: 35B27, 35F20, 45K05, 47...
